Kommentar:
[editieren]		Hip Hop Culture has gained more and more relevance among young people within the last years. Especially due to its musical low-threshold access, a multitude of educational possibilities arise here. With astonishingly low financial effort and a basic repertoire of audio engineering knowledge, it is possible to realize professional sounding productions. The aim of this seminar is to reason educational topics as well as to impart all the necessary computer- and audio production skills that are required for installing a small project studio and realizing basic productions.

Empfehlungen zu speziellen Kenntnissen und Bereitschaften:

All paticipants should not only bring an interest for Hip Hop but for music in general. Previous knowledge in musical theory or audio engineering is not neccessary but helpful. A certain degree of of technical interest and the preparedness to deal with computer and software intensively is mandatory. A basic requirement for this seminar is an own PC or laptop.

Arbeitsformen:

Lectures, demonstrations on PC/beamer, autonomous work on PC-workstations

Prüfungsleistungen bzw. Testat:

An independently created production by means of the shareware-sequencer software Cockos Reaper, compilation of a handout on the implementation of the learned contents in pedagogical work with adolescents

Sonstige Informationen:

The required software package solely consists of freeware and shareware. Downloads and/or download-links will be accessible on my profile page at the beginning of the seminar.
